It was a good information. I think South Africa’s Economics will be better after host the visit of FIFA world cup 2010 due to the big amount of tourist.
That’s right! It’s a great opportunity to be chosen to host FIFA World Cup.
South Africa gains a lot of benefits from this hosting in term of economy, reputation, etc.
So When will Cambodia to be the host of World Cup????
Maybe when Sir Alex comes to manage Cambodian team na.

I don`t think it`s time that south Africa
has chance to improve economy .Benefits getting from
tourists will not be loang lasting..so it`s just in short term
that South Africa get profit from world tourists.It`s good to host
FIFA world Cup…unless there is no inner problems
to be solved.Problems between Blak people and White people
are still there in South Africa..Because majority of South African
are still having no fertile land to farm..most of Good lands are in hands
of white people and they hire black people to work in their farms.
Each year ,Black people murdered 100 farm owners( white people)
so to own farms themselves.South Africa is hiding its reality
from tourist and show off more prostitutes to them in hotles and motels that will make a lot of profits .

According to a new study released on Friday by consulting firm Grant Thornton, the world’s biggest single-code sporting event will pull an extra half-a-million foreign tourists into the country in 2010, injecting an additional R8.5-billion in tourist spending into the economy.
The World Cup’s total contribution to South Africa’s gross domestic product (GDP) will be a massive R55.7-billion, of which R33-billion will be in direct spending on stadiums and infrastructure (R17.4-billion in 2010 alone), spectator trip expenditure (R8.1-billion), ticket sales (R6-billion), rights and sponsorships (R750-million) and other items.
Just over 415 000 jobs will be created in tourism, transport, construction and other industries.
And the benefits will go well beyond 2010, with an indirect impact that may be even more meaningful for a sustainable economic lift in subsequent years.
For racial discrimination, it’s still the issue for South Africa. But it has a chance to win the right to host this world cup, it’s a sign of eliminating the discrimination in this country and this continent and will be disappeared in the near future…
